About Me

I’m a programmer who would dearly like to spend the rest of his life writing books in a chair that’s better for my posture than the ones the standard NYC startups provide.

My education was conducted at the fine institutions of the College of the Atlantic, Simon’s Rock College of Bard, the University of Maine, the University of Massachusetts, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, and Amherst College, over the course of six and a half years. I’ve lived in seven states, in six houses that I can remember, five dorms, three apartments, and two couches during a brief homeless period. I’ve had fifty-two jobs in four different careers. I’ve been addicted to, or at least abused, ten drugs that I can remember, and quit them all.

I’m thirty-one. I would like things to settle down a bit.

I write a lot and take pictures of industrial sites and abandoned factories. Once, my pictures failed to win a contest.
